The creation of each couture gown at Vivienne Westwood is a truly bespoke service, with every made-to-measure piece personally designed for each bride and created with dedicated time and attention to detail from the Vivienne Westwood couture team. Once the bride has selected the silhouette, personalised design sketches are drawn-up and a toile is then constructed and tailored to the bride’s body. A selection of luxury fabrics, handcrafted embroidery, beading, applique and bespoke finishings are explored and the final gown is then handcrafted in Westwood’s London atelier.

The ivory Simone Rose Lace gown creates an elegant bridal look, transforming the bride from day to night. The sweetheart draped corset lace mini-dress is layered with a detachable full-length lace train, adding drama for the aisle with an asymmetric hemline and sweeping circular train with scallop edging.

The soft and seamless lines of the Floral Amber gown in delicate laser cut silk flowers hand-embroidered onto a ivory tulle and layered over tonal silk crepe georgette, create a gentle romantic bridal silhouette, accentuated with a voluminous fish tale train.

Theia Rose Lace
The Theia Rose Lace is a modern interpretation of the traditional bridal gown, the clean strapless neckline and the two-tier trapeze angular shape create a statuesque silhouette, contrasted with a romantic ivory lace scallop hem detail. The grand pleated high train adds structured drama to the look, with a minimalist feel.

Love Olympic
The Love Olympic gown is inspired by the Vivienne Westwood Court dress, first presented at the Spring-Summer 2012 Gold Label runway show – War and Peace. This silhouette also famously appeared at the London 2012 Olympics opening ceremony, worn by model Lily Donaldson. The dramatic corset is steeped in historical grandeur, the oversized neckline accentuates and highlights a cinched waste, playing with proportions of the female form. Presented in a delicate tulle for this collection and subtly embroidered with love note scribbles, roses and hearts in a silver metallic beading.

Sandy Rose Lace
The Sandy Rose Lace was first seen in the Vivienne Westwood Spring-Summer 2016 Gold Label collection – Mirror the World. This special gown accentuates the bust in a sweetheart neckline with a sumptuous full skirt with an angular bustle, adding drama worthy of a Venetian carnival. The Sandy Lace can transform throughout a wedding day; the ruched detail neckline can be puffed up to add volume and texture, and worn on or off the shoulders or twisted to preference, while the three-tier skirt system with removable skirts enables the dress to go from floor length gown for the aisle, midi for the reception to mini dress for the dance floor.

Feather Lace Princess
The Princess Lace Feather gown is the centre piece of the Vivienne Westwood 2020 bridal couture collection. A classic 18th-century inspired flat embroidered lace corset complements a dramatic skirt reminiscent of a rose in full bloom, incorporating over 30 meters of fabric draped asymmetrically cascading to a waterfall of floor length layers of feather, organza and lace petals – creating the ultimate avant-garde Vivienne Westwood bridal look.
